2017 Subaru WRX
The 2017 Subaru WRX features an updated EyeSight safety package, as well as auto-up front windows and automatic headlights.
The 2017 WRX has a Power output of 268 hp to all four wheels, while peak torque of 258 pound-feet is delivered from 2,000 rpm to 5,200 rpm. Equipped with a 2.0-liter flat-4 engine boosted with a twin-scroll turbocharger and inter-cooler as well as direct injection.
Power is delivered via a 6-speed manual gearbox, and has a viscous coupling at the center differential of the all-wheel-drive system. You also have the choice of a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The car splits power 50/50 front to rear, and can shuffle torque side to side as traction is needed.
A redesign of the WRX and WRX STI is expected in 2018.
